Born from the historic trading port of Thalassery in Kerala, our cuisine is a celebration of centuries-old culinary traditions. We bring together the rich influences of Arab trade, Mughal culinary artistry, and indigenous Malabar coastal flavors. Known for our warm hospitality and family-friendly dining, we are dedicated to serving food that reflects the true essence of Kerala, maintaining the exact spice blends and authentic cooking techniques passed down through generations.
Not Your Average Biryani
The crown jewel of our menu is the authentic Thalassery Biryani. Unlike other biryanis, we never use basmati. Instead, we exclusively use Kaima (also known as Jeerakasala)—a unique, highly aromatic, short-grain rice that absorbs flavors perfectly. We prepare it using the traditional dum process, sealing the pot with hot charcoal on top to slow-cook the spice-marinated meat and parboiled rice. Finished with pure ghee, roasted cashews, and sweet raisins, it offers a delicate balance of savory and sweet that you won't find anywhere else.
